1st script for video

  1. The early stages of learning how to drive is the most detrimental part of a young adult’s (teen) driving career.
  2. Young adults are more likely to crash than any other age group. Driving is also the highest killer among teens.
  3. Good driving starts with good teaching. A Lot of New Zealanders use their parents to teach them how to drive because they're the ideal teacher. Being; cost efficient, responsible, fully licensed and a family bonding opportunity.
  4. However…
  5. Learning to drive with parents can be stressful and often results in arguing over mishaps and miscommunications.
  6. Driving is a two way street so why isn't teaching and learning how to drive?
  7. Normally only the learner driver is assessed while learning to drive, but that's outdated and doesn't allow or help the stress, anxiety and miscommunication that comes with driving.
    Transformtion:
  8. We want to Shift the focus from being a licensed driver to being a good driver.

Key Idea:

  • Shift/share the pressure of learning to drive through the relationships by two way assessment.
  • By focussing on the relationship between the teen and parent we alleviate the pressure and stress that comes with learning how to drive by channeling it into an interaction using touch points within the app.
  • Putting some power and control into the learner's role resulting in them being more comfortable because they're been aware and involved in the process.
